Peter Murphy toy collectible to be released after Pandemic pause

Peter Murphy is now available as a collectible figure. Designed by Plasticgod for Plasticgod® FIGUR3D® toy collection, the anticipated figure was originally scheduled for release in December of 2019 for the 30th Anniversary of Peter Murphy’s “Deep” album. Due to the pandemic, the production of the figure was delayed, but the iconic collectible is now ready for release.

Taking advantage of the delay, a redesign with Murphy’s notable, cascading black bangs and an additional pearlescent variant color way commemorating the anniversary of Murphy’s solo album Deep, has been created.

Cuts You Up, one of Murphy’s most successful tracks from the album, is the inspiration for Plasticgod’s designs, with only 1999 officially licensed 6” figures available for purchase.
The comprised limited editions include the pearlescent, bleached blond hair design selling for $55 and 999 figures of the black hair design for $60.

A one-of-a-kind figure of Murphy, embellished with six, sparkling black diamonds, will sell for $5,000. Additionally, the commemorative figure is placed in unique packaging, which incorporates a plexiglass construction.
